■What is “With ensemble”?
“With ensemble” is a YouTube content that brings new aspects of artists through collaboration between artists and orchestras.
The concept is to capture a live ensemble for that day only, with an orchestral performance of an original arrangement and a guest artist for each performance, delivering “another image of that song” as it really is on film.
The producer is Shuntaro Tsuneda, a violinist and member of “millennium parade”, the creative director is Kyotaro Hayashi, a visual director who has produced music videos for numerous musicians and is now attracting attention, and the music director is Seigen Tokuzawa, a cellist, composer and arranger active in many other fields.
In May 2022, “LIVE With ensemble Vol. 1” was held as the first of a series of audience-only live performances where the audience could experience the original arrangements for that day only, followed by the second (Vol. 2) in November of the same year.
The project is also developing a partnership with “THE FIRST TIMES,” a music platform operated by the popular YouTube channel “THE FIRST TAKE,” which has over 7.98 million registered viewers (as of June 5).
